  • Kris and Eric Park
    Kris and Eric Park, DVM
    Veterinarians/Owners

    Kris and Eric Park purchased East Side Veterinary Clinic in 2004

    Eric was born in Meriden, CT. His interests include skiing, mountaineering, rock and ice climbing and wood carving. He received his DVM degree from Colorado State University where he met his wife, Kris.

    Kris is from Glendale, AZ. She obtained her DVM from Colorado State University. She enjoys travel and the great outdoors.

    Kris and Eric have 2 children. They also have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 fish and 2 guinea pigs, 2 horses, a bunny and a snake! Together they love spending time with family, camping, and hiking.

    Both Dr. Park's look forward to meeting you and your pet(s) and are happy you are joining the East Side family.

    Robin Souza, DVM
    Veterinarian

    Having always had a love of animals since a very early age, Robin pursued her dream and graduated as a veterinarian from Tufts University in 1993. After moving to CT and getting married, she began working at ESVC in 1993 where she has been since. Aside from work and family activities with her grown children, she enjoys gardening, photography, bird watching, scrapbooking, and needlework.

    Hospital Administrator

    Ayanna is the Practice Manager at East Side. She attended the University of Bridgeport earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and received a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology from the University of Hartford. Her professional background is in Healthcare Administration and organizational management with a focus on DEI initiatives. She is a board member of the Veterinary Management Council of CT, as well as a member of the VHMA, NABV, SHRM, Pride VMC and MCVMA. She loves animals and enjoys getting to know all the clients at the clinic. Outside of work she loves cooking, reading, traveling and spending quality time with family.

    Head Veterinary Technician

    Rose grew up with a love for animals; when it was time for college her decision was easy, she wanted to be in the Veterinary field. She got an internship at East Side in 2016 and due to her hard work and passion is now our Head Veterinary Technician. Rose is a dedicated member of the team who is always available to lend a helping hand wherever needed.

    Veterinary Technician

    Jessica started her career in the veterinary field in 2011 when she interned at East Side. She was hired as a receptionist and through hard work and dedication, earned a spot as one of our amazing technicians. She then took a break and gained valuable experience and skill that recently led her back to her East Side home. Jessica is a wife, mother of 2 kids and 3 fur babies. She is so excited to be back with her East Side family.

    Veterinary Technician

    Tanashia is one of our newest technicians at East Side. She attended the University of New Hampshire and Becker college where she completed her Bachelors in equine science. She has two cats named sushi and bento after her love for sushi. She is a health enthusiast with a caring nature for all living things. In her spare time she likes to ride horses and go to the gym. Her patience and dedication to the animals make her a great asset to the clinic.

    Veterinary Technician

    Karissa has been at East Side as a technician since 2019. She had a love for animals at a very young age. Nutrition for cats and dogs is one of her interests! Karissa and her husband help out volunteering at a local rescue. Karissa enjoys spending time with her husband, son and their dogs. Her cheerful smile and friendly attitude always shine through when she is working with clients and their furry loved ones.

    Julie has been a per diem technician with East Side since 2020. She has over 30 years of experience in the Veterinary field and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and skill. She is married with two children and loves spending time with family and traveling outside of work.

    Head Veterinary Receptionist

    Dana has worked in the veterinary field for 35 years, is married with a daughter and has 7 adorable cats - all rescues! She has a passion for animals and making sure clients are well-educated on the individual needs of their furry loved ones. She brings a great deal of expertise to the front desk and the clinic.

    Veterinary Receptionist

    Cindy grew up in the Midwest but settled with her family locally. She got her Vet Assistant certificate from Middlesex and began working at East Side in 2013.  Cindy is a level 2 reiki practitioner  who strongly believes in the spiritual and emotional bonds we have with our pets. In addition to her human family, she is guardian to a Dachshund and a tortoiseshell cat. Her patient, caring and compassionate demeanor bring a sense of peace to animals (and humans) when they enter the clinic.

    Veterinary Receptionist

    Sydney was born and raised in CT. She is a UCONN graduate with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Conservation. After teaching high school in New Haven for a few years, Sydney realized she wanted to work with animals. She volunteered at East Side, learning from the ground up, and is now a regular staff member. In her free time she enjoys video games, reading books and snuggling with her two cats.

    Veterinary Receptionist

    Jasmin is one of the newer receptionists and her focus is to ensure the best client care. Jasmin's compassion for animals provides a calm environment for clients and their fur babies to have a comfortable and relaxing visit every time. In her free time she enjoys playing video games, baking, being on the boat with family and wake surfing. She and her fiancé Davi, have fun with their dog Chewbacca, 3 cats Kilala, Clark, Sylvester, and two red ear sliders Shelly and Sheldon!

    Veterinary Receptionist

    Asia recently joined the East Side team as a receptionist and comes to us from NYC! She's had a love of animals since elementary school and has been in the veterinary field for almost 4 years. She hopes to pursue further education to become a veterinary technician. Her two dogs Lucy and Daisy (Husky & Chihuahua) and cat Zelda keep her busy at home. In her free time she enjoys traveling, concerts and spending time with loved ones. Asia is friendly, bubbly, full of lots of energy and makes sure that clients and their 4 legged family members have a great visit every time they come to the clinic!

    This Honorable Mention is in memory of Theo. 8/20/2008 - 8/25/2022

    He was one of the first staff members to greet you and your pets when you arrived. He walked throughout the facility making sure all the animals were being treated with kindness, love and the utmost respect. He always enjoyed naps, snacks, head rubs and impromptu conversations about which staff member brought him lunch for the day. We love him and will miss him dearly ðŸ’—
